BT Line Fault - Pay The Bill?

Hey guys,
I've had a BT line fault for about 2 and a half weeks, where my Internet connection is less than half an MB (0.4 something kbps) when it usually runs at about 7MB, up to 8MB.
I have phoned BT and they confirmed a fault with my line and assured me an engineer would be with me within the next 5 days. Someone from the BT Wholesale group.
That's cool and everything, but I am having second thoughts about paying my bill this month as my Internet usage has been greatly limited to just web pages with small images. Anything with a big file size - forget about it!
What do you think?
Cheers

you still have to pay the bill
just claim a refund after the fault is closed (think the qualifying period is longer than 5 working days to clear the fault)Ex forum ambassador

Yeah the bill will still have to be payed, what i'd recommend is contacting them & making a complaint about the quality of the broadband service you've recieved this past month & see if they can offer any form of compensation for the lack of service.0
