Well I've been and got my mop cut, I can actually see nowHairsdressers is on the way back from the school and cheaper than the last one I went to, only cost me £10.50.
Vacuuming done, argh pesky pests, I know I will become even more obsessed with vacuuming because of them. DP in bed so will do upstairs when he emerges. Have called to get the signs taken down from the house, we've had it over a month now and both estate agents signs still up which were starting to get on my nerves, plus in these winds they'll probably come down and do some damage! Recycling box eventually arrived, 3rd email I think did the trick, it was a little sarcastic.
Not even going to brave hanging laundry outside, think there is only one load to do anyway, caught up now with that thankfully. Winds picked up a lot here, garden looks brown this morning with all the leaves that have come off the trees.
More unpacking this afternoon, vacuum upstairs, movement groups cancelled so just swimming tonight to organise...One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all
One load of washing done, it was out but then it drizzled a bit. Got it all in and draped round......and the sun came out. It can stay in now (clouded up again anyway).
I did the bedrooms yesterday. I've done the bathroom and toilet today. It doesn't take long but I hate doing it.
Waiting for post again, hoping my other parcel will come today. If it does, that will be the Christmas present shopping finished. No wrapping done yet but my DDs are going away this weekend so we will be able to wrap things up safely without being interrupted. They are adults but I still like to have some little surprises for Christmas......even though eldest DD is away for Christmas and New Year
I will have to draw some money out nearer the time for a couple of people but I've got the little presents I'm giving to go with the money.0 -
Trying to do my meal plan up for next few weeks and feeling uninspired. My lot done like stews (weird bunch) but it would make life so much easier. Gonna have a look for some slowcooker ideas.
Just had my gas/electric bill emailed and we are 86 in credit but our electric over the last 4 months is £191 and we dont have a TD or DW?? Think it must the the oven so more in the slowcooker is the way to go. Gas was only 36 which for a combi is not bad, plus we have had the heating set to thermostate for the last 5-6 weeks anyway.
I still want cake and/or chocolate!0 -
(((((get well soon hugs to all sickies))))))
Prised myself out of the chair but headed straight for the door as I went for diesel and then into town to satisfy my spending urge, I bought a birthday card for my aunty which I'd totally forgotten about and a couple of bits from M&S and I didn't even spend a tenner :j they didn't have in what I really wanted, so I'm now stuffing my face with prawn mayonnaise bread buns and there's chocolate teacakes for after - yum! I may get started on the house today at some point...........0
