(((Pigpen))) I'd love to see Rod Stewart!! I actually saw him, though not in concert. I was at the opening of Hampden stadium and there was a charity celeb football match and he was playing in it. My dad helped organise it so we got free, front row tickets:D

He likes playing in charity matches, as he used to play professionally.. I have a video from my cousin wedding do of EVERYONE in my family sitting at a table hands locked and held aloft singing 'You're in my heart' I am trying to get the file made smaller so I can email it to my uncle in Germany.

He is fantastic live though.. full of live and fills the stage.. unlike some!

Just to join in on concerts I've seen - Blur, Texas, Oasis, Black Grape, Wonder Stuff, REM, Beautiful South, Tori Amos, Alanis Morrissette, Bob Dylan all from my teens and early twenties a long while ago - can you tell? And erm, Bros, New Kids on the Block and Jason Donovan from even longer ago when I didn't know any better! Oh and seen David Essex lots of times but that's less to do with the music and more to do with a teenage / twenties crush (and I'm not even old enough to remember him when he was popular - he must have been 40 by the time I discovered him.)

Tend not to go to that sort of thing these days but do still enjoy musicals (latest ones I've seen - We will rock you, Mamma Mia, Joseph, Miss Saigon) - must be getting old! Nearly booked to see Meatloaf at newcastle last week - so pleased I didn't!

Very envious of those who've seen Robbie!

    morning all

I am not playing today! DD2 woke up at 9.30pm with ear ache bless her so she got into bed with us. DH gave up about 12am and went into her bed and she was thrashing round all over the place and moaning in her sleep. So feel very tired at the moment. Trip to doctors this morning and she now has anti-biotics. She wanted to go off to nursery but mummy could not be bothered dropping her off and then picking her up an hour later so she is home for the day. They always seem so much brighter in the day, hoping to con her into a cuddle and sleep later;) .

Currently I am fighting the urge to go and buy loads of junk food. Being tired makes my chocolate gene kick in big time. So will be basics only done today. Need to peg washing out, which includes DD2 pillow. When hubby got in her bed he took his pillows with him and dropped hers on the floor by the bunkbed ladders. DD1 got up to the loo about 2am and half way down the ladder could not hold it anylonger and promptly wee'd all over the pillow. Luckily (if thats the right word  ) it soaked up all the accident so the carpet does not need cleaning.

I could kill for a slice of coffee cake - I just dont have the energy to make one at the moment.

As for concerts I have seen - Robbie Williams and Steps (on their gold tour). The steps one was keeping someone else company but they were fab! And robbie well what can i say :T .

    Morning everyone!

Not feeling 100% today - woke up feeling sick and have a headache, but I've been asked to teach year 5 this avo in Portsmouth and at £46 for a couple of hours, it's worth it. The supply agency haven't had any feedback from the last school yet, but said I did a brilliant job considering what I had to deal with on my first go. They said that it was a tough school. Just hoping my nausea is just cos I forgot to take one of my pills on Tuesday so had to take 2 last night.

Will change my sheets tomorrow, as I usually do this on a day that I wash my hair so that I have a clean head on my clean pillows. I should really have done it yesterday, but was too tired, and there was lots on telly. Don't know whether I'll be teaching tomorrow yet, but I only got the call about this avo at 10am today.

Will run around the bedroom with the hoover this morning, and use the attachment to dust, as the teddy bears all need a good hoover too.

Veggie bacon sandwich for brunch as I'll have to leave at 12 to make sure I get there on time, as parking can sometimes be tricky as it's street parking. Dinner at my Mum and Dad's tonight, so I can go there on my way back home and don't need to worry about making something when I get home.

Happy flying everyone, and I hope anyone who is feeling poorly feels better soon. Forgot to wish Kaz good luck for today last night as the computer was playing up again. Also good luck for your interview Rach.
