Ok looking for school advice again here (sorry).
Just picked DD1 up and on way home shown me her cut lip where a little [STRIKE]thug[/STRIKE] boy punched her in the mouth and lunchtime. Apparently the playleader sent her to the medical room where it was cleaned up etc, but nothing was done or said by her to the boy who did it. DD1 told her teacher when they went in and again nothing was done/said about it:mad: . Now part of me wants to speak to his mum about it (but she is bigger than me and could probably shout louder), although I do think its up to the school to deal with these issues. As I am new to all this school stuff what is the usual procedure? Am more than a bit annoyed the teacher said nothing to me about it either!0 -
Take it easy gnb - try to do too much too quickly and you'll wear yourself out - glad to hear you're on the mend tho'.
How did you get on rach?
Managed:-
swept floor in kitchen
cleaned kitchen surfaces
cleaned down kitchen table
wiped down fridge
descaled kettle
wiped down cupboards
emptied washing machine and degunked drawer
still need to:-
cook dinner
mop kitchen floor - will wait til after dinner eaten - I'm a messy cook
one load of ironing
inventory of food in cupboards
thanks for setting the challenge rach - would probably still be on my backside otherwiseI'd rather be watching CSI!0 -

Thats awful shell!! If it was me i'd first speak to the school and if you get no joy there i'd bring it up with the little thugs parents. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Well I've sat all afternoon wallowing in self pity  I'm freezing and the only thing that warms me up properly is housework so I'm gonna do some now I've pulled myself together. I hate hormones.
Shell have a word with the teacher, they should be dealing with it not you, hope your little one is ok x0 -
Nicki - Thats my trick but the last 2 times its been coffee!
Thanks - will go the teacher route. Dont fancy my chances against his mum to be honest (I am such a coward:rotfl: ). I am aware there my be 2 sides to this but I believe her when she says he just came up and punched her for no reason. The way his brother and him go at it in the morning kicking each other in the bits it seems like his kind of behaviour:rolleyes:0 -

Shell phone the school and advise that your dd has come home with a bloodied lip and you would like to find out how this happened you believe it was at lunchtime, act innocent and see what explanation the school give and if not satisfactory go in and see them tomorow. I personnally keep on top of my girls school as I find that that is the only way things happen.0 -
Good day here so far, managed some xmas shopping this morning and have bought most of my family and most of my inlaws presents, got most of them on 342 at Boots and used points to pay for most of it, so very pleased with myself for saving up the points during the year.
Flying wise managed -
wipe down kitchen surfaces
clear out fridge
wipe down front of cupboards
cleaned out three cupboards
DW run through on hot wash
WM on a the mo
2 x WM
S&S bathroom
Still to do tonight -
iron todays wash loads
kitchen floor
kitchen windows
freezer list (I made a cupboard list as I was cleaning the cupboards today so will add to that one)
I finally feel warmed up after getting very very cold at last nights fireworks we have a organised display in town which is great but takes an age to get back home due to traffic.0 -
:hello: Evening all
Well DP been and got drawn on, doesn't look too bad actually, he has to go back to get the rest done another time but this is a tattoo in itself, just he wanted more added to it. Pleased I talked him into using a decent tattoo artist, bloke he knows did his other 2 and they are awful. Did some meat shopping at a butchers next to the tattoo studio which is supposed to be good stuff so thought I would try some as I was there.
Nicki, go back to bed honey, sign of not enough sleep having dropsy, I do it regular.
Shell I agree with the others, what happens in school should be dealt with in school. You should have been told.
Housework, erm not done anything so far but club isn't on tonight and DP is going there to build some things while it is not on so will do it then, aswell as attempt to make toad in the hole for when he gets in at 9pm ish....here's where I need help.....
How do I make it WITH the sausages inI have tried before and either ended up with undercooked sausages overcooked pudding or some similar disaster, help? anyone? please?
Oh and my OS ways must be slipping back in, instead of just cooking the chips in the oven for DSs teas I filled the space with baking spudsOne day I might be more organised...........
