    The house is a tip, just got back from my parents where ive been for the weekend and nothings been done in the house for the past 3 weeks :o so i really have to get this place sorted.

    Tomorrow....

    Monday Mayhem - Living Room
    [STRIKE]Vacuum floors and sofas [/STRIKE]
    Dusting all the sides and bits
    Remove clutter
    Clean [STRIKE]TV,[/STRIKE] other electricals and cabinets
    Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!)
    Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
    Extra Mission:
    Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    • [STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself[/STRIKE]
    • Clean a window or two.
    • Ring someone you love, just to tell them you love them!!
    Deep Clean Challenge
    Clean light fittings, skirtings even the ones behind furniture. Clean fire-surrounds. Clear as may hotspots as you can.. see if you can get it all into one pile instead of 15!!!

    To Do this week
    • Sort out everything for my new car! Ive got to get the old cars bits together to send off ive heard its going to be around the 17th when i get it!!! YAY!!!!! :j
      • Keys
      • [STRIKE]MOT[/STRIKE]
      • Insurance
      • [STRIKE]Receipts[/STRIKE]
      • Transfer Money
      • Swap radios
      • Empty car!
    • Start making peoples presents.
    • Contact Handyman and Landlady to find out why stuff still hasnt been done.
    Right ive got to make some soups and use up my vegetables for the week. I may put a stew on for tomorrow. hummm. I might look for some inspiration around here.
    Right i should crack to it and go get something in the slow cooker and i might get the paperwork cracked tonight and if im feeling uber keen i might do some dusting.

    Well Ladies I aim to do the whole thing this week and no shirking (SP) so I may need a kick or two or TEN!!LOL. Got to move some furniture about in the living room tonight so may try and tidy up under the settee etc before tomorrow. -this all depends on how well DS and DD sleep with ALL the fireworks.


    Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs

    Level 1
    Vacuum floors and sofas
    Level 2
    Dusting, even if around everything
    Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
    Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
    Water any thirsty plants, wipe their poor neglected leaves!!
    Level 3
    Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
    Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
    Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing in preparation for cold weather!! See if there are any that don't fit, past their best or just plain uncomfy which could leave the house!
    Put up linings or winter curtains to keep out those draughts.
    Extra Mission:
    Pick one or more of the following tasks –

    Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!

    just caught up with this thread but didn't read the end of the last thread!! Glad to hear that L'il me is back and there is good news for Matthew. Of to check the details now.

    So far decluttered the livingroom and i'll hoover once kiddies are in bed.

    Dustykitten he's doing well, but i'm abit worried about this bug cause then he won't be able to keep tablets down but he's been fine today so hopefully it has pasted him. Thanks for asking.
    Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
    And things go wrong no matter what I do.
    Now and then it seems that life is just too much.

  • Hi I'm in too, the wardrobes and hidden cupboards need to be emptied and masses of stuff thrown out! Keeping it just in case,in the house for 4 years now and still loads of boxes in the garage that have not been opened since I moved in to the last house !
