Excellent advice from the experts above which i've also followed.
If you loan was at 6% over 5 years then Tesco have only added year 1 interest at the start of the loan. Over the life of the loan the total interest would be approx £799 (I think!).DFW Nerd No. 1484 LBM 07/01/15 Debt was £95k  Now debt free and happy :j0 -
Hi all.
I am so angry. Despite informing 1 of my creditors about me seeking debt advice and asking to put my account on hold all weekend they have called me. I done what Sourcrates advised and blocked them. Today they have actually called my work luckily I answered the call informing them calmly I was in work and could not talk. Surely this is now harassment? I have permission to contact me in writing I gave no permission for contact to.work?
Is this grounds for a complaint? How do I stop them from calling my place of employment?

I guess the quickest way would be to answer their call (if they call again at work) and warn that you will report them to the ICO if they continue to contact you at your workplace. Obviously I realise that might be difficult if you are in an open plan office, but you could pretend it's one of those PPI / Accident cold callers. Or if you have an email contact address, send a message saying much the same. I was being pestered by a DCA some months back, repeated calls etc. and so that's what I did and I've never had a callback since.0 -
Hi Suseka.
They have my email address which is how I asked them to contact me informing them I will always respond to email.
I will say what you suggest and see what happens then
Thank you

Sunny PDL company. I asked all my creditors to communicate in writing with me. Some have emailed. Some have agreed 30 days or even 45 days breathing space. 15 times since FRIDAY they have called and now calling work.

Question, not that I am brave enough to tackle 16 creditors on my own , if you offer token payments, how do you actually make these payments? Obviously you won't give debit card, or set up DD, so how do you guys make your payments?

Sorry to hear that they are calling your work! I hope you manage to put a stop to that. Regarding repayments I think when you write your offer letters you ask for account numbers and set up a standing order for the amounts you offered! I’ll be sending my offer letters in the near future!0

Update
Moorcroft are now managing my llyods debt
I received a letter , I telephoned them and we went thou a few things
I refused to do another income / outgoings with them , I said I’d done this with Lloyd’s and wasn’t prepared to do it with them and if they needed the info , they needed to contact Lloyd’s
They then asked me how Much I’d like to pay , I said £100 a month , we went through direct debit set up and was told they would review in 6 months
I received a letter saying the same thing ...all in all it was a painless transfer to them managing my account
I’m sure they might get a bit more heavy handed in the future to get more money , but I’ve not got it , so they can’t get it ...
Thank you all for advice on here , I couldn’t have found the strength to do it without your help xxx0 -

Hi changingtimes
I set up standing orders to our creditors accounts. No issues whatsoever. I got their account details, set up SOs and can change the amounts as and when needed.
All very painless
Good luck
