Beyond angry - windscreen ticket has appeared from the RATS again. Arrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!

I haven't contested at ticket stage before - Off the Newbies thread I go, unless anyone has any words of wisdom? It's from UKPC.

p.s. it's a new vehicle - not the one referred to in the rest of this thread.

I think a new thread will be required if you need further forum advice on the new ticket as the two incidents are at very different ends of the spectrum. This could go wrong for you if you get confusing advice. There’s no time for regulars to plough back over a 120+ post thread to check at which stage each case is at or which incident is being discussed at the time.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Search the forum for hearing tips as there is more than that video.

Searching is always the way forward on this forum. :)

Wowza's Direct.Gov's marketing team could do with updating their collateral - that video was truly terrible! But I got the gist, so thank you for sharing :)

I've read lots and lots of threads on successful and unsuccessful hearings and was at court recently regarding a family matter supporting a friend, so am familiar with the way it works - regardless, it's still super nerve-wracking. I hate business meetings at the best of times when i'm an expert in my field, let alone in a situation where i am definitely not an expert.

Regardless, I'm SO excited for this all to be over with, and whatever the outcome, I am so so thankful for everyone here's support. You all go way and above the call of duty and it's so greatly appreciated.

Court date is tomorrow and doing my homework this evening to make sure im up to speed on everything.

I was just looking at the claimant's schedule of costs again and its ludicrous - it comes in at £850 to cover legal fees, hearing fee etc. and i'm wondering if this is a deliberate move on their part to cover themselves in case the judge orders that the inflated cost of each ticket is disproportionate and disingenuous - as is a key point in my defence.

Across the 15x tickets which were £90 per parking charge, they added £60 on top of each = £900 in inflated costs.
Coincidence? or any thoughts on this?

Have you read the Abuse of Process thread? Have you covered that already in your defence/WS?
