ROP VANQUIS Refund

So I’ve had the refund and card is at zero balance.

Had the card for 5 years and has limit of 4K....really have not much intention of using it now as have newday amazon platinum card and get rewards on spending on amazon.

It is worth keeping card account open.....I.e. for emergencies etc

Hi,
I received a cheque today from Vanquis for over £1300 for an account I closed about 3 years ago. I hadn’t made a claim and the cheque was completely out of the blue so hopefully this is happening to everyone who had the ROP.

I did not get any correspondence about this. I emailed a couple of months ago and was told yes I would be due a refund. Last month about £300 was deducted from my balance as refund

I received a cheque for £41 totally out of the blue. Cant even remember when I had the card I hadn't contacted them at all.

hi. did you check your statement re; how much interest you paid on vanquish card ROP. They sent me a letter today stating they owed me £35 for 6 yrs so checked my statements and they owe me over £400 so phoned and they "sorting it".

If you have any statements from when you took out your cc with vanquish I suggest you check them carefully.or ask vanquish for copies of all your statements. I got a letter a few days ago stating they owe me £35 in ROP when in fact they owe me over £400 according the reports I read they have to pay back ALL ROP added to cc from day you started paying it off. mine is from 2012 to 2016 when they stopped adding it. worth double checking.
