If buying from there remember, you can only fit condensing boilers (mr central heating sells non condensing) so make sure you get the right ones

Last time I was in Mr Central Heating, they had a large range of condensing boilers.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but is it not the case that people can still use a traditional boiler if it's a replacement and only when the property is a new build must it have a condensing boiler fitted?

Good afternoon: All gas boilers installed in England and Wales since April 2005 must be condensing with very limited exceptions. See Appendix A in the Domestic Heating Compliance Guide for further details.. http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/uploads/br/BR_PDF_PTL_DOMHEAT.pdf The installation must also be notified to Building Control ... http://www.trustcorgi.com/consumer/requestacertificate.htmx

  • Recently Came Across pureheating.co.uk and was amazed to know what they have got on offers. Bought A towel rail and some radiators off them and ended up buying a boiler too as it was worth getting it in on a single delivery as i also needed it. Plus they also told me what radiators will suit me and what boiler would be good enough for my house.
Have a look and it might be of interest to somebody.
    cheers.

Why is it I always feels slightly uncomfortable about recommended websites when I see a post like this :rotfl:

  • Hi all,

Mr central heating has moved to its new website now, with all packs and products available to order online!

mrcentralheating.co.uk is the new website, although the old .com version will redirect you automatically.

    regards

  • There is a customer feedback and testimonials page from a link on the homepage of mr central heating which will give you a flavour of how they do.
