Out of the country... low or zero standing charge suppliers
I will be out of the country for 10 months per year over the next 3 years and will be returning for holidays.
I would therefore like to get a zero standing charge tariff if that is still possible.
Although I will be back at Christmas for about four days each year I will be returning for two months each summer when hopefully I will not be using much gas.
Of course through the winter I will need to leave the heating on low.
Which is the best supplier for me?
Thanks
M.

If you are on prepay, you could try Utilita.0

Consulting a comparison site to find the best deal for you would be the obvious choice.0 -

If you have a PPMs, and are intending to use some energy whilst you are away for extended periods, then the possibilty to top up remotely/online may be something you wish to consider. You don't want to run out of credit whilst you are away.
Also, if you are going to use s9ome energy, a zero standing charge tariff may not be the best deaol for you.
I think I've mentioned how you should find the best deal for you
*cough * Consult a comparison site *cough*0 -
technically "outfox the market" don't have a daily charge but they do have a monthly membership fee [I think?] of between £6.99 and £13.99 depending if you are a low, medium or high energy user.
so if you were on the low membership fee that would be £84 annually which could be interpreted as a daily charge of 11.5p per day per utility [gas & electricity]
but do as others have said and consult a comparison siteI have a tendency to mute most posts so if your expecting me to respond you might be waiting along time!0 -
@MarkXy, are you getting mixed up about CREDIT and PREPAY ?
What kind of meter do you have ?0
