Why the stars? It's not the BBC having to be balanced.

Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)0 -
Apart from one pack of Pampers which we were given my LO has been in Tesco nappies since birth with no issues. I didn't really like the Pampers as they felt so thin to me (not to mention blooming expensive!) so Tesco it is until they don't work any more.
Just to mention - for some reason size 3 Tesco nappies don't have a wetness indicator like size 1 and 2 do so it's a little more guesswork required :rotfl:0 -

Most brands stop the wetness indicator by size 2. But by then they are weeing a little less frequently and the nappies are bigger so more absorbent, so you won't need to change after every wee.0 -
Another vote for Aldi nappies here! We were using Pampers until they suddenly didn't seem able to cope with the amount of liquid and started leaking all the time. We then tried every brand under the sun before settling on the Aldi ones, and in my opinion they are the best by far.
However, different brands suit different children as they all tend to have a slightly different fit, so it may be a case of trial and error until you find one that suits. As mentioned above, you could use the + ones at night for extra absorbency.0 -
Another vote for Aldi! Pampers never worked for my boy, always leaked out of the side.
I think your baby is quite young right Zola.....are they still poo-ing in the night? Can't remember around what age it is they only wee in the night, they will start sleeping through when they are just weeing at some point (from memory, my brain the first 6 months was like mush so I can't remember it clearly).0 -
Another vote for Aldi here too - they worked far better than any of the other supermarket brands although we found Pampers were better once we started using nappy pants at night.0

We buy Sainsbury's nappies ,the main reason is that their 6+ size is bigger than any of their rivals0

We buy Sainsbury’s own brand for our toddler, he very rarely gets nappy rash or a leaky nappy so I’m happy to recommend them. A 72 pack of size 5s is £4.50. We could save a whole 11p by going to Aldi, but it’s a 25 mile round trip.0
