£900 for rental car alloys!

Glad to say it's all resolved. Had to escalate to Jaguar Land Rover head office (all too common now-a-days, the dealerships seem to have no power or authority any more). Managed to speak with the manager of the department who actually deal with the fleet vehicles.
Told him £900 was ridiculous for a few scuffs on some alloys, he agreed and said given the amount of business JLR put Thrifty's way, he would expect them to waive it. Got a call back later to say it was all resolved at no cost.
So yes, terrible marks for my driving ability but top marks for JLR customer service.
Having said that, I did fall in love with the X6, so JLR have probably lost themselves my next purchase in the process :rotfl:0
