I'd love a camper or a caravan too - enjoy it Snaggles hun xIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Well, I think I've already told the whole world, but I may a well confess properly - I've just bought a folding camper and spent £4200...
But....
a) We have bought it outright, with no borrowing, and
b) It hasn't affected our debt free date as it was bought from inheritance/redundancy/'help from parents' money.
Yes, we could have used some of that money to pay off our car loan early, but it would have broken my heart to use money that my Grans had left me for debt repayment, and my Mum and Dad's help was specifically for the camper, not for spending on whatever we wanted, so.....er.....have I done enough justifying yet? :rotfl:
And if it makes it any better, I am sooooo happy and excited about it - I keep peering out of our door, just to make sure its still there (and hasn't been shot at )!
Snaggles, you left out the most important piece of info. What are you calling the campervan?
Also, you dont fancy buying a wee punto do you? I'm ebaying my car. Auction runs out in an hour and a half and I'm £500 under the reserve price
Oh and I spent £37.50 on a pair of trousers. Half price, will I ever learn??0 -
Aww does the campervan have a name?
Tell us Snaggles :jIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Lol, only joking, but when did Bonfire night run from 30 Oct to 7 Nov???
No hun, we had ours last night. I must say ours were nothing compared to some - they must have spent an absolute fortune on them.
Tonight is quite bad round here, it's a bit like living on Baghdad High Street I should think :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
