BUT!
I've started saving £2 coins (Thanks for the incentive Snags) and have £10 so far!!! Woohoo!Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
I've actually been really good this week, looked through my spending diary for sins and could only find a £1 spend on chocolates in Woolworths.
Pretty good!

I bought my mum a handbag and purse set from QVC for about £40 inc postage which is 13.5% of the Total Christmas Budget so I've gone a bit off course there, but she needs a new purse, and the bag is nice too so... I've done it and now I'll work around it!
That leaves £240 between the other twelve people which include my kids and hubby.
But she'll really like it.
and MIL's getting £50 so...

Well, I think I've already told the whole world, but I may a well confess properly - I've just bought a folding camper and spent £4200...
But....
a) We have bought it outright, with no borrowing, and
b) It hasn't affected our debt free date as it was bought from inheritance/redundancy/'help from parents' money.
Yes, we could have used some of that money to pay off our car loan early, but it would have broken my heart to use money that my Grans had left me for debt repayment, and my Mum and Dad's help was specifically for the camper, not for spending on whatever we wanted, so.....er.....have I done enough justifying yet? :rotfl:
And if it makes it any better, I am sooooo happy and excited about it - I keep peering out of our door, just to make sure its still there (and hasn't been shot at )!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
I've been quite good this week - I've paid a bill and put £250 into my savings account. I haven't spent too much on food, and have only bought one magazine.
However, I have spent £9 on getting my eyebrows threaded - paid in advance for next week. I do need my eyebrows done, but I do own tweezers and I have a steady hand so it's a very unjustified spend.0 -
OK what's the smallest font available.......
