    60 hz is the frequency, and vesa is the international standard for interfaces etc...

    I also have a similar problem as I have managed to get a picture on my plasma T.V. using a HD15 cable but when I try to play a game through my laptop the picture on the T.V. goes wrong even though the laptop picture is fine. Is it to do with the resolution on the T.V.:confused:
