OP, the important thing here is to take action now, don't wait. You need to get in touch with the necessary police force and explain that each offence happened on the same day and, as everyone knows, you can't get done for speeding twice on the same day. (My dad once needed to get to a meeting by a certain time, so he purposely got flashed by a speed camera first thing in the morning so he could legally do 120mph all the way to Leeds)

You should also fight that the road should be a 40mph zone - this is very important. Get a lawyer for this if necessary. I know several people who have got off speeding tickets by showing the courts that the speed limit for the road was wrong and the speed they were travelling at was correct.

    Good luck.

Not the usual view of the community speed watch.

    Have you been thrown off?

Also mention this. As you've done the speed awareness course, you're clearly a law-abiding citizen who is fully aware of speed.

    Good luck.

    Really?

I think your dad was pulling your chain.

Actually, I think Deastons is pulling the OP's.

Either that or he's been at the cooking sherry.

I don't speed as a rule. I just feel unlucky to get done twice. By that logic I could go from zero points to 12 and a ban by getting done for going over 30 but under 40 4 separate times a day.
    Yep. 4 x 3 = 12. Well done. You aren't completely innumerate.

Now all you need do is compare the number on your speedo to the number you can see outside your window. Not the one you hope to see.

I think that post is brilliant :D

It just gets funnier as you scroll down.

Even Deastons dad likes winding him up.

What’s unlucky about it? You were speeding, twice. And yes, you could get a ban as a result of accumulating relatively minor speeding tickets on the same day.

Displaying recklessness with your driving is one thing, but you’re displaying stupidity if you’ve already had a speed awareness course yet get caught speeding twice in 15 minutes a year later and think it’s unfair and you’re unlucky. You’ve had your warning. You deserve all the fines and inconvenience you get.

I done the awareness course last year.

How did you pay for the course?
If it was on a debit or credit card then trying a chargeback for the money might be a good idea as it's obvious that the awareness course didn't live up to its name.
