which steps have you done?
It does not even beep.
All that happens now is that it briefly shows a blue screen with uefi BIOS across the top then reboots but only after I remove and replace the BIOS battery.
I don't think it is saveable.over 73 but not over the hill.0 -

If all else fails, you might get better value from a refurbished Dell PC. I recently bought an i7, 16GB ram, SSD, one for £220 delivered (next working day) from a Microsoft certified refurbisher on eBay. You might not want an "old office PC", but it runs like greased lightning and boots in seconds. Unlike many new off the shelf PCs, it wasn't pre-loaded with junk either.0
