Moving to new contract on EE but want to keep old number.
Hello
Can someone please explain the process whereby I can take advantage of the EE S9 deals at the moment, but keep my EE number from my "Sharing" sim I have (which utilises my wife's EE contract) ?
Do I need to get PAC code from EE, transfer number on to cheapest PAYG I can find (? O2 - £10), take out contract with temporary new number, then get PAC code from O2 to transfer onto new contract SIM ?
Thanks

That's the way, But you may not need to top up, sometimes you can get the pac without. Just tell CS that you have zero signal.0 -
Thanks
Is there any time limitation with this e.g. PAC code expiration, time window on new S9 contract after which porting is not allowed etc. ?0 -
A Pac lasts for 30 days only.
It's best to use it at least 3 or 4 days before it expires in case there's a problem with the port.
As far as I'm aware EE have no time limit on when you can port into a contract.0
