PCN's ? Fight Fire with Fire

If you get a PCN first of all get it clear in your mind that it ISN'T a Fine, it's an Invoice, nothing more than that, it's an attempt to extort money by walking all over you.

The name of their game is to frighten people into paying whatever they demand, most folks "panic & pay" that's the name of this game that parasites play.

But you can fight fire with fire, if you get one of these Invoices just write back informing them that you won't be paying this side of a County Court Judgement.

Invite them to take you straight to CC if they think they have a legitimate claim against you.

Also inform them that (other than the above) if you receive any further correspondence from them you will charge them £50 on each occasion for the time you take to review and respond to their letters.

The ONLY response that you should make is to notify them of the letter they sent you, and that by being aware of the terms mentioned above, they have entered into a CONTRACT with you.

Every time they write, write back, mention the date of the letter they sent you then bill them for ANOTHER £50, send your Invoice by registered letter.

Advise them that should they attempt to harass you in any way at all you will report them to the Police for criminal intent under the Harassment Act of 1999,

It won't be long before they owe you £300, IF the case goes to CC your claim against them will be more than their claim against you, add to that your claim of ESTABLISHED CONTRACT will be stronger than their claim against you.

Once the penny drops and they realise that you have turned the tables against them they quit bothering you and go to chew on someone softer.

IF everyone responded as above these parasites would be out of a job.

How do I know this works ? well guess...

Were it that simple this forum would be redundant

Treat this "advice" as speculation. But don't follow it

The advice in the newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum is tried and testef

Newbies should follow that and note all the successes reported!

...criminal intent under the Harassment Act of 1999

I didn't know what you meant, which is why I asked the question.

We tend to deal in facts here... not myths or fiction.
