Lied about medical conditions on my employment form

I was offered a job and didn’t tell them about my bipolar, SAD and sleep disorder.
Been in the job a few months.
Was worried they wouldn’t hire me.
What do I do?

Tell the truth and possibly get sacked for lying or get sacked when your secret catches up with you and they find out.0

What's prompted you to ask now?Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0

Not telling them and lying about them are two different things. Which did you do?
As suggested, if you do your job and turn up to work, there's no real reason for them to know. But if don't, you will now struggle to justify an argument for them possibly looking at reasonable adjustments if it is going wrong.
If you did lie, be aware for future reference that being sacked for lying to your employer is also a reason why people won't employ you!0 -
Were you explicitly asked about medical conditions? Was there a health questionnaire? Are you struggling with your health and work at the moment?Signature removed for peace of mind0

They asked if I have suffered from depression, if I have a disability (my bipolar fits the description), if I’ve visited the doctor within the last year and if I take medication. All answers no. All incorrect.
Does it affect my work, no. My job isn’t stressful and my work colleagues are ok. It’s actually better for me to be in a routine.
Why did I lie - because on paper I look like a bad employee and I really don’t want the stress of going to the doctors and getting medical reports (I lived in Ireland until this year, different health system).
If in the future I’m unable to work, I would rather cut down on my hours, take unpaid time of or quit work. I would rather cross that bridge if I need to.0 -
@sangie ive just started working for my employee, two years probation. After that if they sack me because I have medical conditions that I didn’t disclose, which didn’t affect my work or attendance during the past two years, that’s discrimination.0

Should it ever come to it, sacking you for having a disability may be discrimination.
Sacking you for lying about it when asked, isn't.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

To put it bluntly, no it wouldn’t be discrimination. ‘Lying’ Is not a protected characteristic.0 -
Before two years I can be dismissed any time....
After two years if they dismiss me for non disclose of medical illness that doesn’t affect my work or perfeomrance, good luck!
Either way I didn’t feel protectedz0
