Hi,
I am currently with Plusnet and pay around £35 a month. They are now advertisig the same package I am on for £25 and was wondering if anyone knew if it is likley I would be able to get mine reduced. I have not contacted them yet and I understand I signed up for my deal but it just seems a bit of a con that they said around 10 months ago that if I signed for 2 years then I would be getting a great deal, obviously not.
Thanks.

You can but ask, however that is an awful risk signing up to a 2 year deal on what doesn't seem that good a price anyway.0

It was probably a great deal at the time but prices have plummeted recently and now it looks overpriced. Make sure you compare like for like though, as many of the new customer packages tend to be "broadband and line only", without any call packages on top, so if your £35 includes calls then its not a fair comparison.
That being said, nothing ventured by not calling. Its not like you're moving provider and the online portal allows you to upgrade while maintaining your current contract so put on your best telephone voice and ask.0
