has anybody won the C2W's recently?

I generally enter the C2W's on my mobile anyway and I still get the videos.

The problem with having a lot of tabs open ... If you click "Enter" on one and a video starts playing, so you go to the next tab and click enter on that and so on, you might find if you go back to the homepage of the site and refresh that a lot of the competitions haven't been entered, because generally if you try and "trick the system" by entering 2 (or more) at the same time, it doesn't accept your entry. So you'll find it hasn't turned green with the "Enter again in ## hours" message.

To be fair and a bit more transparent with the people winning 16 and 14 competitions in a month, they are smaller prizes, DVD's, Blu-Rays etc ... but I can't fathom how they can have the time to enter so many that they would win so many, unless they are concentrating their time on smaller prizes and not bothering at all with the higher value prizes ... but then I can't really understand why you would spend 6 or however many hours a day in the hopes of winning a few DVDs.

So, it's not simply a case of opening 80 tabs and flying through clicking "Enter", you have to do them one at a time, so you can't enter tab 2 until tab 1 has processed, at least in my experience. If you open up one (of the C2W sites), open a few random comps in tabs and try entering them all at the same time, then return to the homepage and see how many have actually entered? ... maybe it's just me that this doesn't work for?

EDIT : OK, So I just tried this on my desktop and it appears it does enter you, I'm not going crazy ... that never used to work. Will try on my mobile later in case it's just a mobile problem

I find waiting until it says 'processing' in the URL before I click on to the next tab helps.

I won twice from Simply Media last year but nothing so far this year. I don't do them that often now due to them allowing multiple accounts, low value prizes and only giving away one prize. The magazine dailies are continuing to give away 10 prizes however the C2W sites are giving away fewer and fewer prizes.

For example:
Club Petz Lucy Sing & Dance
Simply Media 6 websites only one prize up for grabs
TI Media (Mag Dailies) 6 websites 10 prizes available

Picnic at Hanging Rock DVD
Bauer over 50 websites and 4 DVDs
TI Media (Mag Dailies) 6 websites 20 DVDs available

There's a small chance they've just got way too much time on their hands and set up multiple e-mail accounts to enter with, which I believe isn't actually against the C2W sites' rules. More likely - scripts submitting their entries, as you say, and possibility another one enabling them to bypass the newly implemented adblock ban.



It's really disheartening to see (probable) cheats on there. Annoyingly, since Win Something only displays the first letter of winners' surnames, they would probably ask how do we know it's not a different Mr X from wherever.
