:T Well done Stoke and Sarah.:T
Perhaps we should all visit Penzance? I'd love to lose 3lbs!:D Have a good holiday sarah.Gettingtherequickly wrote: »No, it is an small one near me, food in there is amazing and almost everything SW friendly.
Lucky you:). I wish we had something similar round here. We do have an Indian that advertises adapting dishes to make them healthy using Frylight (dare not mention Slimming World in their promotions) but I haven't tried them yet myself.
Good to see you lush. In the past few weeks I've become a real convert to oven cooking my own jacket potatoes, freezing them and then defrosting in a few minutes in microwave. I cook them when the oven's on for a roast at the weekend. They're ready so easily and skin is so tasty. We had sweet potatoes this week too. These would be great for you if DH is having oven chips. Let us know what sort of meals that DH and Littlie will eat then we could come up with some SW friendly tweaks for you. All the obvious batch cooking meals are brilliant (savoury mince, chilli, Bolognese).
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix, HEA milk, banana
L: veggie omelette and picklessausage, mash, fried onions, cauli, broccoli, carrots
Syns: BGTY sausages 2, gravy 20 -

Thanks for the update and new chart Chrisv
Checking in with a small loss of -1lb (which was the same 1lb I gained last week!)
Well I am back to work, which I hate, but on the plus side it controls what I eat as I always bring lunch and only 30 min break a day so no other times for picking.
My aunts are arriving on Saturday with suitcases loaded with much missed food from home so will have to navigate the next 3 weeks carefully, sometimes I feel I am wishing my life away getting from one ' event/hurdle' to another, still all for the greater good!'You have brains in your head. Well done, TG, Stoke, SIRENS and Sarah.
I am definitely struggling to get back in SW groove. However, I have just hidden (I hope, well enough) a Frys Cream that DH bought for me today. By ‘hidden’ I mean that I have put it somewhere that I won’t come across it too easily. I’m hoping that by doing this I’ll be very aware, should I be tempted, that I put it there so that I would not eat it. Crazy, I know, but right now I’ll try anything. I did tell DH not to buy me any more. *sigh*

Hi maman
my ideas so far are: meatballs in sauce/bolognese
lasagne
savoury mince
put a whole chicken in and serve with chips or jackets/salad or baguette for husband
small beef joint - as above
gammon - husband doesn't like it pulled so figured just cooked in water then served with egg and chips
stew- beef or chicken with onions, carrots, mushrooms, stockpot etc
am considering finding time to batch cook pulled pork/chilli that i like then freeze in portions
also thinking of stuff i an have prepared ahead and just cook without too much attention. was wondering if i could do chicken breasts wrapped in bacon in the slowcooker if i did them and wrap in foil then just melt cheese on top under the grill etc
also hoping i can maybe freeze risotto(?)
I've ended up skint this month as covered a chunk of stuff for husband as british gas fudged our dd this monthbut looking forward to returning to group two weeks on monday. It's a completely new group so going to clear my mind and try and make it as close to starting for the first time as possible.
the weight management group i was refered to starts next wednesday. ive not been eating their way as it was way too confusing and also...9 portions of carbs a day?! i can't manage half of what they wanted me to be eating! so not sure if i should go but at teh same time i want to see what they are teaching!************************************

Had that salad and finished off those meatballs. They're really really good if you've not tried them yet.
I'm really feeling quite in the groove now having had that 3lbs off. I want this now. Prepared food for tomorrow and I've already prepared tea as well. Friday will be easy enough too.
Who knows, maybe I could get target by Halloween? Not jumping too far though. I usually fall apart after a few weeks of good weigh ins lol
I don't know why but I'd love to be at target by Christmas. It feels like the kind of Christmas present that is so special, I'd never forget it. The Christmas I finally reached the point where I had completed a life changing journey. If you had told me just 12 months ago, that I would be where I am today........honestly, I would have given you the keys to my car as part of a bet that I wouldn't be. SW is probably the single most important thing I've ever done in my life.... and I'm really serious.
There we go, heart to heart over0 -
Hi folks,
I did join you once before but it's been a very long time since I last logged on to the site, hopefully you'll have me back
I'm actually coming back at a really bad time, holiday gain last week, then missing this week as it's full of birthdays >.< . But the last off plan stuff was today! And the last piece of cake has now been eaten so maybe it's actually a very good time to come back!
I really need to get back on it big time, having decided I want to get to target by my 30th birthday (May)... not that I've set a target yet... But for the purpose of this I'm going to aim for a goal of 7lbs by halloween. That would get me my 4 stone too so *fingers crossed*
Speed and water are my focus for the next week. I've had 2 days of absolutely no speed this week. I'm thinking of making a hidden veg pasta sauce tomorrow to jump start things
xanything's possible if you've got enough nerve
