Well we got there in the end then didn't we :T

I used this search term https://www.google.com/search?q=mk5+golf+2.0+tdi+140+coolant+capacity&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b I think "mk5 golf 2.0 tdi 140 coolant capacity" is a perfectly acceptable search term.

Maybe i pulled the wrong links but the ones i clicked on the back of that search were "i think...." "maybe..." etc.
  • Go to TPS for the coolant. It's a wholly owned subsidiary of VAG and supply the trade but if you go to your local counter, they'll sort you out.

Out of curiosity what's the deal with distilled water? Any particular reason why mixing it with tap water is no good?

Distilled water doesn't contain all the chemicals that have been deemed "safe" for us to drink, mainly the calcium which produces the limescale in your kettle. I doubt if it really matters for the number of times you change it nowadays tbh.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

Ahh right so nothing major then? It wasn't the first time i'd heard about people using distilled water but i'd never asked about it before. Couldn't see what was so bad with tap water. Surely these oh so wonderful VAG engines aren't that delicate?! :rotfl:

You are constantly following my posts responding with nothing helpful whatsoever. Grow up.

Funny how those who are helpful don't really have an issue with me. Wonder why it's only those who are only interested in being unhelpful and have an attitude???!

I treat people exactly how they treat me and everyone starts at the top. Think about it.

Fluid capacities are listed in these. Might be worth a purchase as they tell you about that sneaky bolt you cant see that stops you from being able to complete a task
Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!

That's not true and you know it. I have pitched in with help more than once and I didn't see the attitude you showed in this thread in the ones you attacked. That's why I spoke out. You were downright rude.
