We have a large chest in the hall and all the hats scarves and gloves are in one of the drawers, very handy to just open the drawer and collect what you want and pop them back when we come in. It also means OH cannot complain that he cannot find his hat, scarf, gloves etc when we are going out.
Two doses of medication in and the back feels a bit better, its been too cold to go out for a walk today, I lit the fire at 10am this morning, will see what its like tomorrow, we may get out for a short walk then as long as its not too cold. watch this space.........0 -
Thanks for asking about my knee, RosyRed - it's just 'taking longer' than I thought it would this time around. Fed up of all the appointments - visiting two different hospitals is a pain in the proverbial
.
Regarding my porch - I live in an upstairs flat and the porch (on the side of the building) is my entrance. In there, I have my chest freezer (kitchen is way too tiny to fit it in), my 'wally trolley', the set of plastic drawers and a row of coat hooks. Stairs go straight up to the small landing with handrails on both side of the stairs (2nd one fitted the day after I came home from hospital via physios).
Oh dear - so much for only going to buy ONE red pepper .................. well, I DID only buy one - but, it was all the other stuff that let me down.
Visited the charity shop where I volunteer to have a chat with my supervisor. All's well - and she can 'jiggle my shifts around' for me ................... I'm so pleased :j. I've had involvement with the shop for around 36yrs and would HATE to have to stop being part of it. I'm going to go in during next week - just for a couple of hours - even if I only 'man the counter'. I'll be banned from the kitchen - no way that I'm balanced enough to be able to serve tea/coffee  !0
