Texting 5 digit numbers -included in contract?

I get free text messages as part of my Orange contract, if I text a 5 digit number eg 89076 which states 'cost standard rate' (No extra charges)
would this be included in my free Txts??

no it isnt, whenever i check my bill online it always comes up ad charged for that 5 digit text number
  • When they say 'standard rate' it means it is not Premium Rate. ie) it will charge you the standard 'out-of-bundle' cost for an SMS for your network. Generally 10p (or £0.085 as will show on the bill - ex-vat).

The only 'standard-rate' SMS which will be inclusive will be SMS sent to an 079/077/078 UK mobile number
