Accident at work

Forgive me if this is in the wrong place, I couldn't find an appropriate section.

I'm looking for a good accident at work solicitor/company. No win/no fee. For a broken nose my hubby suffered at work (farm).

TIA.

On a serious note businesses aren't allowed to advertise here so you wont get a response like that.

What you might get is advice on whether any H&S breaches occurred. And if your husband is at all culpable. (could save you money and your husbands job!)

    Indeed.

Whilst there are circumstances when it is in your best overall interest to sue your current employer they are few and far between!

What exactly happened and in what way do you consider the employer to be at fault?

All these ambulance chasing firms advertise along the lines of 'did you have an accident which wasn't your fault...'. It's not that simple. If your husband's claim is to succeed, the employer normally needs to 'be in the wrong'.

Be aware that even if your husband's conduct is exemplary and he is is no way to blame for the accident, compensation is going to be relatively modest - £1,000 or so for a simple break which heals reasonably well - and a chunk of that will be payable to the lawyers.

    Speak for yourself!

There 6 posts excluding mine and there has been one recommendation, judging by the question mark after it its not a recommendation more mention of a company that im assuming theyve heard of.

Looks like im speaking on behalf of everyone at the moment doesnt it?

The op asked a simple question, for recommendaation of proffersionals who can deal with accident at work claims. Everyone jsut wants to be nosy and pass judgement.

I mean its such a simple question, id imagine a solicitor that is no win/no fee wont be shy in telling someone if they think they have case or not. BUt obviously people who will have so little information on the internet need to pre vet that for the no win no fee solicitor.

If someone wants a simple recommendation they can google 'injury lawyers' and look at the star ratings :)

People are asking because they are trying to protect someone from starting a potentially pointless claim which could lose the OP's husband his job and their only income. People see these daytime TV adverts where people fall over puddles and claim thousands but its not reality.

    Missed the edit...

Id love to know your legal qualifications for making such a judgement? Im assuming youre also willin gto take on any liability that your opinions might have? Specifically from what little information you could garner over an internet forum.

Youre not at all, you want to virtue signal and cast judgement.

And who are you to decide and 'pass judgement' on the advice people want to give?

This forum is not hear for handholding and 'oh dear'ing.

Based on the general level of your posts, one hardly needs to ask about your qualifications.....

If your opinion of this forum is so low I wonder why you have bothered to post over five thousand times?
