The app says "this is an invalid amount to withdraw" when I attempted to withdraw the closing balance again earlier this evening.

Not sure how much you're trying to withdraw but when I tried to withdraw over £1,000 back in April I got a similar message. At the time I was told there was a bug in version 2 of the iOS app which was preventing manual withdrawals over £999. I was however able to make withdrawals in smaller chunks without problem.

I would have hoped they would have fixed that bug by now though.

Where is it shown for people with time remaining to earn bonus?

    £10K at 5% where??

    In the new application:

    - Click on the downward-facing green arrow adjacent to the savings sum in the top right-hand corner

    - Click on 'Information' in the bottom right-hand corner

    - A screen appears with all the necessary information you appear to want

    With Kind Regards
  • I use Money Lover apknite to manage my spending. It can link to the bank account to but I don't dare to do that. :money:
  • It was the mind-blowing sum of £131 - the interest / bonus earned in my year with Chip.

They did actually get back to me on Thur and promised it would be paid within 48 hours.

    Guess what? still no money!

tbh I'll just let the ombudsman sort them out in a couple of weeks time.

Glad I withdrew all my money and cancelled the direct debit earlier this year!
I knew I saw this coming.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Doesn't have interest rate there, at least, not for me anyway

Have any MSE Chip users had problems with withdrawals like Scutter_MK?

    If so, please share.

Just withdrawn £999 to check. Didn't have any problem.

Well, I requested all of mine, I got majority of it (I guess all the money I put in) minus the interest/bonus. They said that comes from "another provider" or something like that and said it takes a week. I have chased them today as it's been a week

I've just withdrawn mine down to the £12.24 bonus, or 'invalid amount' as it seems to be called now.

Let's see if anyone can get their bonus payment.

I noticed on the app that it wasn't telling me the intrest rate, I assumed that it was App upgrade and they had removed it, I was wrong, at the end of a year bonus you intrest falls to 0%, what is the point of a so called savings account if it doesn't pay intrest?
Sounds like time to close the account.
