  • TA I am very sad to read your news, you must be devastated. I can only send loving wishes and as I've only been here for a few years, hope that's not too presumptuous.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

    Afternoon all,

TA , I am so very sad to hear your devastating news, and send my love and best wishes in dealing with the difficult months ahead, but hope you can still have some happy times with your DH and amazing family. Re the steroids,my DGS's other Grandad has also had treatment for cancer over the last 5 years and is quite poorly now,but a course of steroids does seem to give him a boost.

My afternoon news is good for a change. DM went down the stairs, outside, walked to the next close, back up the stairs and into her chair - all the while telling the two physios not to hold her or touch her. :j

The doc has just left and is equally as happy with her. DM hasn’t been outside since 23 June, apart from being taken to / from hospital by ambulance.

She’s delighted and I’m hugely relieved and delighted!
