What happens when you drop Virgin?

Options
I'm thinking of ending my Virgin broadband/phone/TV deal because of price rises.
Does this present problems when trying to find a new provider?
Presumably Virgin will not allow a rival to use the cable they have installed to my house?
Would I have to go back to a provider who uses the BT line - or do other firms inherit the Virgin tech side of things?

Thanks for any advice.

The Virgin cable is exclusive to them.

You will need an Openreach (OR) cable to your property for any ISP you choose to use. The ISP will arrange this with OR.

Of course, it looks like you already have a BT line, in which case it will need to be re-activated by OR.

Some companies charge you ~£60 for re connection.

    Others don't (nowTV)
