Made successful PPI claim. A Now Claims Company saying I could get more money?

Hi, looking for advice. I successfully made a PPI claim myself last year against Barclaycard and Morgan Stanley (now owned by Barclaycard). Received a payout of I think around £840ish - I thankfully kept a lot of statements dating back to the 90s so it was fairly cut and dry. However since then, a few claims companies have…

Why are they telling me banks have been re-investigated? Ar they just lying? Should I report them to the financial authorities for lying?

I just don't trust anything anyone says anymore

Banks get massive fines for doing stuff wrong

Lloyds had £100m+ fine for wrongly rejecting PPI complaints for example. If they found a mistake they are duty bound to report it and ensure anyone who is affected is notified.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair.
