Which 'free' box is best for me?

Humax smart HB 1100s freesat reciever/recorder at around £100 from John Lewis seems to fit the bill.
Plus a USB HDD for recording around £40 so nearer £140. And only single channel viewing or recording.
The HDR-1100S is dearer but a lot better option. I picked up two, one for £140 (500GB) and one for £154 (1TB) respectively when Maplin closed.0 -
+1 for the HDR-1100S. Bought mine from Currys with the help of a £50 voucher they gave me after messing up another purchase. The voucher was a pleasant shock!
Edit: I was formerly SkyQ, and changed the LNB to receive Freesat. Not always necessary, but I wanted to be certain that I received Freesat.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

A gamble but I'm happy with my £40 BT DTR-T2100 Humax off eBay plus £8 for a new remote from China.
500 gigs Netflix, prime and nowtv films but not entertainment plus a scart so works with my old TV yet still shows the HD channels.
Doesn't get you an aerial though...0
