How do I empty the ash pan?

We're currently staying in a holiday cottage which has a multi fuel stove. Try as we might, we can't work out how to release the ash pan to empty it
Apparently there should be somewhere inside the fire to insert a large Allen key, but we can't see where!
Does anyone have any idea please. There's no make on the fire and no instructions in the cottage.
Thank you

I take it you have taken the cover at the bottom off? The ash tray should come out from the bottom.0

It looks like a Euroheat / Nestor Martin / Efel Harmony 33. The bottom panel should be hinged on the right hand side with a push retainer on the left. Pull the left end and the panel should swing out, the ash pan door will be behind that.0

OK, so it's a multi-fuel stove, but if you're burning wood you shouldn't need to bother emptying the ash pan. or at least not very often. I only burn wood and every um.. month during the burning season I might lower the bed of ash a bit and chuck it on the compost, but wood burns better on a bed of ash.
Ah, having looked more closely at the photo I see you could be burning coal. Oh well, I'll leave this comment here for others. Good luck!0 -
might the key go in from one side to release the panel? I've no idea - just guessing.....0
