Best Place To Sell Old Mobile Phones

Hi, can anyone recommend the best place to sell old mobile phones? I have an iphone 4 and 5 sat gathering dust after upgrading. Might as well try to get some ££ for them.

Not really worth selling to the buying outfits....The 5 is worth around £30 max, but, you'll be lucky to get a fiver for the 4.
Best bet is to put them on ebay, more buyers for more reasons on there.

I wouldn’t bother. I would put them away somewhere as one day they will be worth a considerable amount. Out of all the things I have jettisoned over the years I wish I kept all my old phones for the little storage space they take up.
I still have a 4 s and a blackberry curve not in use that I can’t part with and I can part with most things.

I sold a phone on there a few weeks ago. After fees and postage, I got about 3 times as much as I was offered on the Phone Buying sites.

The sellers fees, although understandably needed to run a business, can work out a lot. I've used FB Marketplace recently a few times with success, and its free

CEX seem competitive at present.
You'll get more on eBay, but much more hassle with phones.
Whatever you do, record the IMEI before sending it anywhere.

Thanks for all the advice. I'll see what they go for on ebay and decide if it's worth the effort.

If you dont find a place to sell or buyer, I think it would be good to find some place to recycle it as some parts could be still used. This reduces the amount of electronic waste which is problematic.
