Well I joined WW last night as they had a 9 month offer on the membership which was good value. Had a bit of a fright when just to get to the top end of healthy range I need to lose 6 stone and my BMI is 39:eek:
It has to be done. It will hopefully also help with my MH and self confidence if I can get closer to the correct weight. Realistically it has taken 20 years to get to this point so if I can get to a healthy weight in a quarter of that time I will be happy with that but although I do not have any physical issues at the moment due to my weight it cannot be good for me to be so heavy and I am not getting any younger!!!If thou of fortune be bereft, and of thine earthly store hath left,Two loaves, Sell one and with the dole, buy hyacinths to feed the soul. Not much happening on the pennies front, statements have come in and only V so far has added interest. I am just waiting on my last monthly statement to arrive from L (rhey and V are the only 2 who have not acknowledged my letters in any way).
Time to prepare another round of letters to go out this month reminding them all of what is happening and then I can make my token payments on payday.
Moving forward albeit at a glacial pace but forwards it isIf thou of fortune be bereft, and of thine earthly store hath left,Two loaves, Sell one and with the dole, buy hyacinths to feed the soul. 'Anon'

I applied for a job closer to home for similar wage last week and they have notified me today that I have an interview next Thursday
Fingers crossed for it as it will save me some money on fuel and I will gain back about 40 mins each way on my commute. Stressing already about the interviewIf thou of fortune be bereft, and of thine earthly store hath left,Two loaves, Sell one and with the dole, buy hyacinths to feed the soul. 'Anon'

Well the interview was today, I will find out if through to second round on Monday... think it went ok ish!
I did not enjoy putting on a warm dress and thick black tights (currently the only interview friendly outfit I have) for it though... i thought I was going to melt!:rotfl:
Pay day tomorrow so I can sort the car insurance and allocate funds to pots on YNAB.
Token payments to creditors and next round of letters will be fettled over the weekend.
I am working Saturday and DOH and I are looking to visit a NT property on Sunday as a nice trip out, I also need to dead head the roses and pot on the foxgloves, wallflowers and lupins seedlings, plant out the cosmos and some other plants I got last weekend at the garden centre (sale rail at one of our local ones is rather useful)
Wish the thunder and lightning which was promised would hurry up and arrive so the weather will cool down I am currently melting into the sofa and poor Kitten is not enjoying the warm one bit!!If thou of fortune be bereft, and of thine earthly store hath left,Two loaves, Sell one and with the dole, buy hyacinths to feed the soul. In other news the scales this morning heralded a half stone loss since starting WW and even though I thoroughly enjoyed a salted caramel donut for a colleagues birthday, the points were accounted for and I am still on track. Looks like I am finally learning to budget - both money and foodIf thou of fortune be bereft, and of thine earthly store hath left,Two loaves, Sell one and with the dole, buy hyacinths to feed the soul. Thanks Abba
It’s the early weight loss of a new (and permanent) diet i think. I am sure it will slow down but slow and steady will get me where I need to be...same as with the finances.
Went to WW class yesterday and I have now lost 8lbs in total. Only 11 more half stone markers to get past:rotfl:If thou of fortune be bereft, and of thine earthly store hath left,Two loaves, Sell one and with the dole, buy hyacinths to feed the soul. 'Anon'

Blimey! Where did all the time go?
Where to start....
Didn’t get the job so still stuck where I am for now but at least I am working.
I have made my first payment to my DMP and my second is due out on the 1st December, all seems to be going ok so far. No defaults as yet but I have received default notices from all creditors and have received letters asking for full payment off 2 of them so looks to be moving in full default direction.
I am managing to stay within budget and have built up my money pots enough that I should get through Christmas if I can keep the seasonal extravagance in check. Even though the car MOT and Service are also due in December I should, as long as there are no car disasters, be able to afford this and Christmas by thoughtful use of the EF such as it is.
I am feeling quite positive as I can see that as long as I keep to my budget pots I will not be in such a bad position next year and will have enough in the Christmas and car pots next time round to not need to touch the EF.If thou of fortune be bereft, and of thine earthly store hath left,Two loaves, Sell one and with the dole, buy hyacinths to feed the soul.
