OH bought me a newspaper to read in bed this morning. He is off fishing overnight tonight, but he's got bait and stuff already and it's a syndicate water so it won't cost him anything.
I've had a tough week at work and I'm really tired, I was going to go to the fireworks at the local fire station but given with that poor fireman dead and three others mising I doubt they will go ahead.
I really don't want to go out other than that, so all being well it should be a total of £1.40 for the day, which I am very happy with!0 -
Nothing today, gunna spend all afternoon in my pjs, wrapping xmas presents! Then a quick jump in the shower before work.

Hi guys,
I've had a really horrible few days so am really miserable. Have spent £1.84 on sending ebay parcel, was going out with OH tonight but quite frankly I don't want to see him. At least thats some money saved! :rotfl: Sorry, this isn't the thread for woes and misery, just seriously fed up.
I'll try and cheer up, honest....:o:eek: Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
Hi free and everybody :hello: :hello:
Well - I've got the weekend off. :T :T I've had a tough, but enjoyable week's training, and there are still 2 more weeks to go
Never realised that a 'Home Shopping' Delivery Job would require so much 'training' - especally as I will only be doing 22 hours a week at the end of it. Still I got my 'Company Mercedes' (Delivery Van :rotfl: ) even a 'Company Mobile' and 'Palm Computer' so I must be doing 'okay'.
It's another 3 weeks before my first payday so I'm keeping my spends down to the minimum and if I can manage it, today will be a NSD.

Might need some tobacco later, though.:(
chloebell - I hope things get better for you.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Hi everyone - today I've spent 99p on a magazine, £9 in advance to get my eyebrows done next week and a direct debit for £16 has also gone out of my account to pay bills. So not a very good day then!0

Hello everyone
Today i've spent £6.00 on various bits and bobs. That shall be my total spend for the day.
Hope everyone as a nice weekend x0 -
I've just been to do my weekly shop, spent £58.61 which isn't too bad. Apart from that I did the final bit of my christmas shopping which was £74 all within budget and out of the christmas savings account, so again doesn't feel like a spend. I think I've done great this week, 5 NSDs plus shopping under budget:T:A

As others and myself have said already: Excellent news on the job front rog2! Seems as though you are enjoying it but also finding it tiring (as all jobs are); and it does look as though they are treating you with respect, which in my opinion really matters. Interview on Monday for myself: I don't hold up much hope. Maybe i'm just being too pessimistic
. Have a lovely evening all
