I have been doing so well since August and haven't frittered money away except for this weekend. I worked a night shift last night as overtime (£100 after tax :j),however I spent £5 on mags and sweeties to keep me going through the night. I didnt' get much sleep today and my judgement was obviously clouded... I have just treated myself to a curry (£7.00). I am now on MASSIVE guilt trip and feel like I have fallen off the waggon. :( Can I have some support to get back on track next week please from you lovely folk. xx

Hey squirrel, don't kick yourself too hard! You made £100 and spent £12! You didn't spent it all on rubbish and we all deserve a treat now and then.

Just enjoy your curry, and pop the remaining £88 in the bank!:T

Right, scratch all of that about me not spending a lot today. I've just signed up to vonage via quidco. Hubby will be touring europe, US and Australia over the coming 6 months so we need to sort out cheap phone calls. I decided to get him the mobile phone type thingy because being stuck in a venue he won't be able to plug it into the broadband line. So that was £69. we'll use it all the time anyway, free calls to his family in canada and when we're in the US back to here.

I've also spent another £130 on my new business, a bit of paperwork type stuff and a mailbox. This is really important because as you know I do travel quite a bit, loads of stuff gets sent recorded so I need someone to sign for it and hold it for me. All sensible stuff but I'm skint again now:mad:

NSD/low spend days don't really exist over the a weekend for me , although I started Saturday with the best of intentions

Withdrew £30 to do some food shopping - spent £10. Met some friends for afternoon tea and champagne. Great afternoon - cost £5 (on top of the £20 Lottery winnings for the year to date) £1.40 for the Times newspapers which I WILL read before I go to bed tonight, 49 for a diary milk, £1 cheese in Iceland and £3+ in the local deli.

Not too bad I suppose but then, kind of en route home I thought I'd pop down Oxford Street to check out the shops. Such a bad move. £24.50 in M&S on bathroom shower curtains, bath/toilet mat, hand towel and a soap dish :o Not exactly the tea set and the 3 for 2 plates I went in to check out but I'm going to order them online for delivery as I didn't have the energy to lug them home. I've wanted white plates since the beginning of the year but put off buying them "because I've got debts to pay". Having managed to clear off one credit card I've decided to buy a few of the items I've wanted for almost a year and leave the rest til I've reduced my debts some more

(The excuses I can think of to justify spending money I really shouldn't have :rotfl::rotfl:)

Far too much this week to bear thinking about and I already know next week is going to be worse. Oh well I'm not going to let it get me down, I'll just try harder when I can get the enthusiasm up... _pale_
