It's my birthday today :j
However, have gone a bit mad. Have spent £74.94
I bought a lovely pair of shoes (£39.99), Chistmas presents (£25) and lunch out (£9.95).
I've enoyed my day, but am a bit worried about how this will impact my budget for the rest of the month - am going to be spending all day tomorrow working on that ![STRIKE]DFW Nerd number 729[/STRIKE]Debt Free & Proud0 -
Free - could you read the papers online to save a bit of money? I know it's not quite the same but it would be a big saving over the course of a year.
I am having as cheap a day as possible today - tomorrow will be a completely different story though, but I'll save that for the confessional...lol!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

£55 new pair of boots
£6 fishnet stockings
£5 tights
£5 car wash, couldn't be arsed doing it myself
£2.19 happy meal on way home from shops
So thats £146.13
and I'm going out tonight which will mean another £50 gone so around £200 today in all. Damn. Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0 -
...and that reminds me to buy a couple of lottery tickets tonight - I'll do it online to keep me out of the shops.
So far I've spent £3 on newspapers and £8 on compost. I really don't know why I spend so much on weekend newspapers - I've read all the news online or seen it on tv. Maybe that's something to give up soon.
So aiming to spend £13 today - woohooo!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 208 - Proud To Have Dealt With My Debts DEBT FREE DECEMBER 2008!!!0 -

  Hiya lovelies!
I'm spending nuffink today!
We will be looking at the fireworks in the sky for free tonight from the comfort of our own back garden
and tomorrow it's my grandmother's 93rd birthday party followed by dinner at MIL's so it should be a cheap weekend.
I'm sorry you're feeling poo Chloebelle. Can you sneak a little treat or two to cheer yourself up a bit? A usually verboten glossy magazine and watching Dirty Dancing for the umpteenth time usually works for me. (13 going on 30 works too!)
Rog - I know just what you mean about the training being a bit overkill. They pitch it low and risk irritating the brighter peeps in order to make sure that everybody "gets it" I expect.
Have a fab rest of the weekend lovelies!

PS - Hope the New Shoes are okay - I made the mistake of wearing a pair of new shoes to the first day of work - my feet are RAW.
