I wondered how long it would be before someone crawled out of the woodwork to say ' told you so'0 -

Personally I would be offering sympathy rather than gloating, a vast majority of the population will be scammed/conned at some point.
Fingers crossed it turns out ok0 -

How is it greedy to order 1 TV from a website, at worse I admit to being naive, at best optimistic. Like all deals we see, it's some you win,
(just received my Diesel jacket thanks OP) and some you lose like the TV.

So true, I've often jumped in on an offer that seems too good to be true, thankfully they've almost always been ok, lets remember that this is "the grabbit while you can board".0 -
and theres still a remote chance that this is just a website glitch, but it does not look good.
I wonder how you stand if they actually have the goods on site to honour the orders but have just ceased trading ??? if you have paid for them and can prove it then surely they are yours and not the administrators ??Ex forum ambassador

Not sure how much this helps but I have posted on the other threads as well. I know Firedrake Croft, I used to live right by there and I'm still nearby. I casually wandered past there this morning and they had a light on. it's a flat on an entirely residential estate. Don't be fooled by the arial pics of an industrial estate on some of the map sites, that was knocked down to build houses, along with the railway line and old peugeot factory to the east of it.0

probably better if everyone now posts in this thread over on Vent part of the forum to keep all the updates on one thread

            UPDATE
I copied this from the forum at : http://geteven.biz/viewtopic.php?t=67
Guys and girls........ very important news!
Ive just had a phone call from Amy - formerly of musthave100.co.uk
She is very upset and concerned - and she too is a victim of this scam - is now unemployed and owed wages.
After a very long chat this morning (luckily as someone who shouts loudest - and I cant claim inocence there!) - she had my mobile number in her notes and was able to give me a call - after recognising my username and speaking to me about getting 2 sets delivered - 2 and 2 was put together!
Anyway, she has said that both her and Caroline actually answered the ad that we've now all seen posted for her job and worked from home. All contact with Adias Varzukas was via ICQ so she's never seen either the Coventry or London Addresses and not able to help on that.
Amy unfortunately had to leave on Thursday early for a hospital appointment and told him she wouldn't be at work again until Sunday. (Bare in mind its home work.) So when she tried to log into the company on Sunday, was the first she realised something was wrong..... then got worse when she saw the forum! She did say she did think about joining to spill the beans on what had now transpired, but was a little worried after seeing some of the posts.
So, we've had a major peice of luck.
She will be contacting the police today - and now they must listen and will not be able to fob people off with "tell your bank". Amy has agreed to call me back with her crime report number. I believe she will also speak to Caroline to do the same. Whislt most of the company info had to be logged into, people that they called, they have got some of the records and details that can be passed over.
I have been given her home phone number - and personal email address. I can verify that the info given is true, as I had to call back with a bit of further info to pass on.
Oh - and those that were saying that they had shipped Argos TVs - were spot on! Amy was told that they had problems with their supplier and even though it was a loss, it should keep faith in the comapny. It definately worked! A one of the recipients I virtually helped them by giving them a green light on HUKD!
I am at work at the moment - so not able to expand too much - but thats pretty much the crux of the call. I will try to get back on at lunchtime.
So guys - those who have given Amy and Caroline a hard time - and suggesting tracking down - you are off track.
Everyone - apart from Adias Arzukas has been duped - though no one is sure who Richard Lee is. He may be the same person!
So chin up folks - this is a major breakthrough........
Once I have the crime ref number - everyone reporting should report this number.
So lastly...... rather than some of the nasty comments you may have seen on this forum, I would like to say a big thankyou to Amy for coming forward. Your email address and telephone number is safe - and will not be passed on - you have my word on that.
NOTE : i copied this from another forum I personally did not speak to Amy0 -
Not sure if this helps, it's just a thought, but is Richard Lee a pseudonym? Because the address in Coventry is a residential address and there is a Richard Lee primary school in Coventry.0
