I was just going over the original thread list again, and see that Virgin, Halifax and Yorkshire BS all have RS accounts that aren't tied to other accounts or local address requirements. (Also Kent Reliance, but I already have one of those).
Seems like my 6 accounts are but a click away...
edit: I see the Virgin Account requires opening at one of their "stores".0 -

I'm also surprised to learn there are providers that let you have more than one at a time!
Virgin's regular saver needs to be opened in branch. Does that mean you need to go to the branch 10 times to open 10 regular savers, or do you only need to go to the branch to open the first one?0 -

Ah. So is it the case that you can simultaneously hold an Issue 11 and Issue 12 regular saver, but you wouldn't be able to simultaneously hold two issue 11 accounts for example?
If so, does this way of operating also generalise to other providers who provide issue numbers?0 -

Correct

No. Some do - some don't.
You need to read the T&C for each product some won't allow you to have more than one regular with them even though they offer multiple issues.0 -

I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. They withdrew the e-Saver in March when the store version increased from 0.25% to 1.01% and withdrew the easy access e-isa in May. Making the Regular Saver store only would follow their trend of only offering unlimited withdrawal easy access accounts in store with online accounts only being limited access.0 -

You can hold an Issue 11 and Issue 12 Regular Saver, as well as an Issue 11 and Issue 12 Regular E Saver all at the same time.
But with the 3% one going on sale last month, it put the issues out of sync (the next one would have gone on sale later this month if their normal pattern was followed), we're all waiting to see what Virgin's next move is. Fingers crossed an e-version will turn up by the end of September, but I'm not holding my breath!I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
I manage 14 regular savers. One set to mature each month, and 2 x 4 year ones.Save 12 k in 2018 challenge member #79

Also, 30% have more than 10? Yet the media has us believe people have no money...
This is a savings board and a thread about regular savings, hardly likely to atteact a representative sample of the population.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -

one or two matures every month and funds the next months payments plus Christmas and summer school holiday activities.
It takes a while to build upto the maximum you can pay in each month but once you are there, its financial security and bliss as far as I'm concerned.
Now my two eldest do exactly the same and building up to maximum per month paying in just as I did, I do think, one of the best "good parenting" examples I have.If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0
