I found the youngsters particularly spoiled and brattish, but that Neil bloke - well, I reckon he's a plant. He's just being so unhelpful and selfish. It would be nice if the young couple did the best.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0

suggestion number one - they should all sell their TV's - give their kids one less excuse not to move off of their lazy backsides! - oh yes and Neil should definately be assigned to the nearest compost toilet (or did i mention that already?)I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!

I think it is already fairly obvious that the young couple will do better than the others, as they have the right attitude and are working together as a team, which unfortunately the others don't seem to be doing. Yes Neil is already getting on my nerves, what on earth is he doing on the programme? He so obviously does not want to be there! Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

I suppose they need someone as closed minded, difficult and stupid as Neil to cause problems and make the programme interesting..... but he really did get on my nerves and his poor wife!!!!.
Watching the programme made me realise that I must teach my daughters as soon as possible where food comes from...so many children don't have a clue do they, just look at those spoilt teenagers in the series? But is it just me, or do programme makers go out of their way to choose unsuitable candidates for such programmes to make interesting viewing? I'm hoping that as the programme goes on, we will genuinely learn something from this series. Ultimately it could change a lot of people's way of thinking and bring them round to old style ways.

It's all so fake because they all have no real 'need' to do it anyway. Was that THREE cars I saw on one drive...?Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

80K a year joint income for the childless couple? They've got the right attitude but I think they'd miss the money too much, good job their mortgages are being paid for the year.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
