TV: The Real Good Life

Just heard this is on tomorrow night at 20:00 on ITV1 Anglia...... sounds very oldstyle to me and wanted everyone on here to know about it!

The Real Good Life
Three families give up the rat race and go back to the land in an attempt to become self-sufficient within a year. Saying goodbye to the flower beds, they bring in vegetable plots and pigs. Steve and Lisa Attfield hope the stress-free life will help her get pregnant. Veronica Aldridge yearns to spend more time in the garden with husband Neil. And the Smiths hope they can grow enough to feed six hungry mouths ....

Finally a reality tv programme I might be interested in, as all the others bore me to tears!

Thank you for letting us know.... had no idea it was on as there have been no trailers on TV about it. Bet that's because we don't have to telephone in and vote someone off:rotfl: It will so be nice to have a programme about "food gardening" for a change rather than one which tells you which plants "look nice" (yawwwwwnnnnnnnnnnn snorreeeeeeeeeee!!!!!:wall: )

I'm not in the Anglia area ... but, I shall check our schedule to see if it's on here! Thank you for the "heads up" on that one! Yes, I do agree, that it would be a most interesting style of "reality" TV!

  • The last weeks Daily Mail tv magazine had a feature on the programme, there are 3 families taking part, they gave up work for a year and did the Good Life for real, the magazine had 2 pages on the prog with interviews with 2 of the families....looks good

Am I the only one who's finding these people incredibly irritating?
