Including the 5 days of service grace from when the letter was printed right? The ticket I received was a My Parking Charge ticket - is that even a PCN?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Also be aware that you must do the AoS within nineteen days of the Date of Issue on the Claim Form to achieve the 33 days to file a Defence.

On the basis of a) I can gain a statement from a local business owner who can vouch I was in a tutor session for the duration of the stay, b) the machine was 'gutless' - a black bin liner was positioned over it and c) I didn't trust the company to use my debit card via their mobile method. d) The ticket I received was a My Parking Charge ticket - is that even a PCN? e) If a company can't repair their machine within one working week, then should they really be issuing tickets at all (for the second week); if people can't use their preferred method or only method of payment?
Turn that argument around. What would you do if your pupils/clients used the same arguments with you about your fees e.g. iiydro looked shifty and I didn't pay him even though we discussed payment.
Did you attempt to offer an alternative method after you left the second time. Even if you were concerned about card details what steps were taken subsequently? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Knowing from the first week, a PCN would arrive. I awaited to gain the address of the firm and sent them an appeal and stated I will cover the parking charge via cheque. Which was enclosed. The cheque was made payable to the firm to the sum of the 2x parking charges. The appeal was rejected and the cheque was returned.
I believe a cheque was a viable payment option, since they quote cheque as a payable option for the PCN - why not for the parking charge.Parking charge notice? That's a useful point to make. They may argue that it wasn't in the instructions but you have to point out that you attempted resolution but they were being simply obstructive - no doubt to generate PCNs unnecessarilyThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi mate, just putting defense together at the moment. I'm curious if you could help me with the 'review the cases' part.
So I'm thinking if possible to have case 2 deferred under the res judicata. Despite me being aware of required procedure the second visit (pay by debit card), these cases are otherwise identical and are caused by the same initial problem - the broken machine.
On the money claim system, how do I log this res judicata / review of claim - so I can focus on case 1 & winning that first.Parking charge notice? When you are happy with the content, your Defence should be filed via email as described here:
1) Print your Defence.
2) Sign it and date it.
3) Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
4) Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
5) Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
6) Log into MCOL after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defended". If not chase the CCBC until it is.
7) Wait for the Directions Questionnaire and come back here.0
