£50 now showing in my Wahed Invest account. Time to wait 14 working days.

Received and reinvested Wife and my £50's. Wonder how long before we get the other £50. The email 'implied' as soon as it was invested so possibly some point next week?

Anybody planning on staying with them or is it all coming straight out once 2nd £50 received? Think ours is coming out although having said that we might not have made anything on the original investment but haven't lost as much of most of my others during recent market downturn

No nothing, I got the 50.00 credit on the 7th and paid it straight back then. So 3 weeks ago, and today is the 15th working day.

This was the relevant bit of the T&C:



So it was from deposit (not investment) and up to 14 working days.

I deposited on the late afternoon/evening of the 7th (recorded as funds received on the 8th) - giving the:

9th, 12th - 16th, 19th - 23rd and (so far) the 26th, 27th & 28th as working days - by my reckoning 14 days was yesterday, but if we ignore the 8th then it should have been today.

I've sent a message and we'll see what happens

Anyone had any sign of the second £50? I make it 18 working days now since my deposit...

I've had an email in response to my ticket confirming the second payment has been sent. This was in response to a follow up I sent yesterday reminding them they were now in breach of their T&C.

I had also requested my account be closed and initial investment returned (mentioned in the first part of the response):

I would like to thank you for your much-awaited patience and sincerely apologise for the delayed return of funds.

Due to the settlement cycle and selling of the holdings, we ask all our valuable clients to allow 9-10 working days for funds to be returned. I had confirmed on the 28th of November that we had submitted the final-sell orders and it is in progress as we speak.

Without any further delay, we have sent the second £50 bonus to your nominated bank account today. You should receive the funds in 1 to 2 working days. You may also confirm the successful receipt of it once viewed.

What are others going to do now?

If withdrawing the full balance from your Wahed account then you need to contact them to close your account. At the same time I don't want to shoot myself in the foot by making myself ineligible for any future bonuses/referral opportunities that they may have.

I think I'll maintain the minimum £100 balance and withdraw the £51 that I currently have. On balance I'd prefer to remain an active investor with them.
