Equita not changing address

I posted on here a little while back and everybody was helpful. I mentioned i was moving and you reccommended i provide equita my new address. They are chasing on behalf of parking eye.

I emailed them using their website contact form and heard nothing back in 2 weeks. My old address received a new letter from them today. I rang them to say i wanted tondiscuss my address. They said i had to email them. I did nothing happens. They also said i need to provide a council tax bill as proof however i doubt this. Also their website offers no email address and no option to attach anything

They also said contact parking eye but that is impossible.only way is through their appeals page which gets rejected as soon as i enter the reference as it is beyond appeal

I won't be paying i just want to keep any letter they send and be aware of any unlikley court papers. If they refuse to change address what do i do?

Of course you dont have to send them any proof of change of address. THats garbage.

Of course you can contact PE. Appeals@ works, as does enforcement@

Email and call it 'my address for service'. Use those words and then give the new address.

    I would email:

    enforcement@parkingeye.co.uk

And say that you phoned and they unlawfully demanded a copy of your Council Tax Bill, which is data they are not entitled to, and you will complain to the ICO online, if PE fail to confirm they have updated all their address records (and at Equita), and erase the old address immediately.

Google ICO. Come on, or search the forum so I don't have to repeat myself yet again.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Eh? I advised you what to do.

There was no need to ask what the ICO is when one click on Google tells you and gives you the website.

Forgive us if we are frustrated when people ask us what a well-known public body is. This is a parking forum.

  • I am sorry bit I have never had to deal with any of this before and have had no need of the ICO. Pardon my ignorance . I have never heard of them. Your answer was helpful and I am grateful

I have emailed parking eye on the enforxement @ ... address. I have had no response and today I have received another letter from Equita saying they will pass back to PE with reccomendation for further action

My concern is they will use the old address knowing I won't receive any lbccc and get an eaay win. My dad lives at this address which is how i know of the letters but he is moving friday and we will no longer have access to the property.

How do I defend this if I can't get the letters. I can't forward my mail for 6 years.
I have read the newbies guide on defending lbccc and if i am honest it has gone over my heas. I shall re read it but i fear I will never know if I have received such a letter

Make PE fully aware of this and get confirmation from them
