Thanks for the info. I think it's prudent to be a little selfish about sharing these sites because you don't want too much competition for jobs, but I'm happy to share on this thread, so long as you don't tell the whole world!!! :D

I've signed up to several micro-job sites within the last 4-6 weeks and the ones I've had the best luck with are BeMyEye (£42.10 with a task worth £1.50-£4.50 that I only submitted today so hasn't been approved yet), Streetspotr (£24), Roamler (£16.25), StreetBees (£10 plus £3-£5 yet to be verifiied) and Field Agent (£8.50 - would have been more but the spots go really fast!). I also have ClicAndWalk, Findyr and Appjobber installed, but I've not had any tasks posted near me for those yet.

I think your success depends on where you live. I live on the East coast in a small town so not many jobs come up, but there's not much competition when they do. I also travel to a couple of larger towns regularly so if I'm lucky there's a job I can do while I'm there. The jobs are varied but mainly fall under "mystery shopper". So far I've been paid to buy drinks in a bar, photograph the menu at a takeaway, count product facings in a shop, find and photograph street name signs... You only get £3-£10 per task, but the jobs seem to be pretty straight forward and quick to complete. :D

Hope that's not too much info! :j

So much money making does depend on where you live and what demographic you fit in. I gave up on surveys as I am clearly a very undesirable demographic but I have seen other people make a steady income from them. I live in a city and you would think it would be great for money making but it isn't always the case. I find mystery shopping and Streetspotr tasks are surprisingly rare. I asked about it on a local Facebook group and lots of people said they had waaaayyyy more luck with mystery shopping when they lived in quieter areas. One lady who worked at a mystery shopping company did tell me that companies often prefer getting their smaller stores shopped rather than the insanely busy city centre ones. So people really do need to try every app and website to see what works for them.
  • Can I join in please for £1 a day? I'm not sure how this works. I understand that I need to earn an extra £1 daily but not sure how I join - do I post my success on this thread? Many thanks

    and welcome.
You don't have to make a specific amount every day, just work it out what it will be for the whole month and then post whenever you make anything.

As for' joining', Kantankrus Mare will add you to the list of challengers. This happens afresh each month. Once the new monthly challenge link is posted on here (usually at the very end of the current month) just click on it and post on the new thread that you want to take part and how much you are aiming to make.

There are no hard and fast 'rules' as such, people just update the thread when they want. Some post with every money-making success, some report in every few days with a list of several amounts made since their last post. Some people like to add a running total to their signature. Just have a quick read of a few other people's posts and you'll see what I mean.

Some people may go a few days without making any extra money at all (it happened to me loads of times:() and then either several things happened all at once or something worth quite a lot got sold or something. It usually evens itself out over the month:j

    Good luck:beer:

  • Hi,

Firstly I just want to say I love the idea of this thread. I had a question that I can't see an answer to but apologies if I've missed it. A few people are mentioning 'daily clicks' on quidco and topcashback, I've been on both these for a few years now but hadn't seen any daily clicks, can anyone point me in the direction of how I can find these and start doing them please?

    Best of luck everyone :)

I know thete is a seperate thread for these so I'll edit them out if it's a problem, but you can use my code of 78969Z for StreetBees and I believe we both get £1 credit, on BeMyEye if you use npp2nv we both get £1 too and I can also generate a referral for Streetspotr which I think also has a £1 each bonus but I would need an email address.

Hope that's not too much info! :j

No I really appreciate the fact you have gone into too much details thank you very much, I will take a look at these sites at weekend thanks
