  • I hope you have a good weekend too, KM:T

I did a post this morning but it disappeared:eek:. I hate it when that happens.

Just wanted to pick your brains about the free Lego cards offer at Sainsbury's as I know you shop there. They are supposed to be available in store or online, one free pack for every £10 spent.

I did an online order last week when the promotion had already started and spent over £40 but didn't receive any Lego cards. I can't see any opt-in button on the website or in the email they sent me so I assumed they'd just be issued automatically.

I've emailed Sainsbury's to ask about how to get them as I plan to do another online order on Monday and don't want to miss out again. I emailed them yesterday but apart from the automated 'thank you for your email....' message I've not heard anything from them. I know from experience that they sometimes take days to respond:(. I don't really want to phone their Helpline.

    Thanks xxx

I thought you might know, being a Sainsbury's shopper

Sorry CBC.......on this occasion I cant be of any help. We have never been offered lego cards.. Maybe its a new promotion? I will have a look out for it on my next visit. :D

I would imaging you'll hear from them next week in response to your email but you could ask the driver as they may have supplies in their vans too.

I did read the guide. I just snapped every advert I saw. They were all accepted but all only got low points apart from one that got 60. I live in a place with quite a young population so I wonder if they were already submitted by other people and that might make a difference. I am visiting a quieter town with an older population next week so I am interested to see if that makes a difference.

I'm thinking you may be right. Went to York today and snapped around 80 jobs. I'd say a good half to two thirds of them got me 10 points or less and they were similar to ones I'd usually get 30-60 for. I managed to find a few whoppers though, two at 205 points and one at 194! No idea what was so amazing about them, but I'm not complaining! Managed to make over £10 though without much effort above what I was doing anyway. :j
  • Another 5 days and another £94.92, giving me a total of £211.26 on the month. I wish I'd started doing this months ago! I'm looking at another possible £40 tomorrow from micro-jobs so I expect to meet my target at this rate. :D
  • I’ve earned £18 from eBay sales paid for today - hoodie, a pair of jeans and an old (obsolete) mobile phone.

    I got a £4.95 payout from TopCashback.

Looks like I’ll be at more than £400 this month when it ends, wasn’t expecting that!
  • Tips to add for yesterday £7.40 :j

£12 MOC used in Sainsburys today where the adverts for the lego cards were hitting me in the face and made me think of you CBC ;)

Hope you manage to get them sorted. I guess the home delivery person just never thought to give you them. Bit poor but they should still honour them.

Bit of a waste getting the indian meal from M&S. It was horrible! We dont tend to eat ready meals and maybe as we have been having such lovely concoctions with our monthly delivery from Gousto, it has spoiled us. The meal tasted plastic and had that manufactured taste that a lot of ready meals seem to have. Yuck.....has put me off totally. Not a bad thing as I do wonder what is put in these meals sometimes. Cant be good for us. Anyway, Im rambling. Hope everyone has had a good weekend :D

I don't like the texture of the chicken in their Indian ready meals...Love their garlic naan's....yummy

  • Hi I was wondering if I could rejoin again, I know I haven't posted in a long while but the truth of it is that I lost the motivation to try to make extra money (sounds silly I know), I guess it was because I did not know what I wanted to do with my life in general.

After a long thought about everything I now have a plan on what I want to achieve over the long term and the short term. My main aim is to own my own house I am saving a decent amount of my salary each month for this so anything extra is a bonus. My target would be £340 per month this would cover my bills such as my car loan and a couple of other bits and bobs. This would also allow me to save a small amount from that each month to go towards the house as well. I always loved the support we gave each other on this forum and that is also one of the other reasons I have returned.

For today I made £7.05 from matched betting and my current total for the month is £187.55

    Mortgage Amount Outstanding £116,682.20
    2025 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #49 £1401.29/£1,250 (104.74%/100.00%)
