Can't get a default removed

Options
Massive long story short, Lloyds bank incorrectly listed a default on my file. Admitted the fault, compensated me and had it removed. Fast forward to this June, default reappears. Contact bank again, readmits liability, compensates and says will remove default.

Default still on file....phone up bank, they say it's been removed and to contact agencies. I do that and they say no, Lloyds are still reporting default, Lloyds will have to request removal.

Go back to Lloyds, they say it's not on their system so not their problem and they won't do anything. Woman was obnoxious and the bank won't even let me raise a complaint about her as she's a manager!

I'm at my wits end. Neither the bank or credit agencies will contact each other so I'm stuck in the middle with a damaged file and no-one to help.

What can I do?

Raise a dispute with the CRAs. They will ask Lloyds to prove it, Lloyds will say they they can't and it should be removed.

    Failing that, the ICO.

    Hi,

If it were me, I would send complaints to all of the CRAs and the bank (Lloyds).

If after 8 weeks had passed without satisfactory resolution I would then escalate the complain to the ICO.
I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

    I love my job

As others, raise the dispute with the CRA's, and provide them with the admittance of faults from Lloyds. They will raise the dispute with Lloyd directly and if they don't respond correctly, it'll get removed.

What timescale are we talking? It could be off Lloyds system but they may be only updating it with CRA's at the next update cycle.
Which CRA's is it on, again Lloyds may not actually inform all the CRA's, so it can take time.

Still as stated, raise complaints as it should be resolved by the time the 8 weeks are up and if not you can then escallate it

They were supposed to be removed in June....it's now nearly September.
