Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge/experience with using contactless cards overseas (Australia in particular).
I know that in the UK the limit for contactless payments is £30, but if I were to use my contactless cards overseas in a country where the limit is higher (limit in Australia is AUD100, approx £60) am I limited to the limit imposed by the UK bank, or the maximum limit allowed by the payment processors in the country I am visiting. It's not critical as I can use chip and PIN but I'd be curious to know if anyone has any experience in this area. Thanks

Depends on the country you're in and not the card issuer.
In Romania this summer I did transactions up to 70 contact less but got asked for the pin.
In Bulgaria I did a transaction of £65 without a pin.0 -
We were in Australia earlier this year and my Monzo card worked contactless up to the AUD100 limit.
They use cards a lot out there and we rarely resorted to using cash. We drew out AUD300 on our Clarity card when we arrived and had to make a conscious effort to use it up before returning home over 3 weeks later.0
