New alloys - Affecting insurance/warranty?

Not sure why people are referring to damage to the "chassis". Mass produced cars haven't had a chassis since the 1960s. They are of monocoque construction which is even worse if you apply lateral loads to the side of the car (sliding into kerb). This load is transmitted through the wheels to the mounting points, the driveshafts etc.
I would have the car looked at by a proper independent place. First stop would be a four wheel laser alignment check. Plenty of proper places to get this done. ATS & Kwikfit are not the places to go.Signature on holiday for two weeks0 -
S-Line Black Edition means more options and bigger fancier wheels. So any repairs to the body won't be more expensive. Wheels are probably more expensive than standard but I think Ebay should help you with it. There's plenty of wheels sets with tyres or without imported from Germany. Or just used ones removed from UK cars.
Just remember, when selling car in future, people wheel expect to see alloys from Black Edition car or wheel complain about car being in accident or something wrong with it.0 -

I think you are getting confused over what a chassis actually is. Not surprising as "chassis" in common parlance is an abbreviation, popular in the UK, for the "chassis frame". In the USA, it is usually abbreviated to "frame", which is less confusing as that is essentially what it is.
Modern cars still have a chassis but most have no chassis frame.
The chassis frame is the full length bracket that all the components of the chassis (steering, suspension etc.) attach to. Most modern cars don't need the frame as the chassis components attach directly to the body, although some cars do use one or more shorter, smaller frames (sub-frames).
